I have been to a few Vets over the years, and Anchor has been the best so far! We have finally found our Furever Vet! Our first visit they made us feel like we were family, they took their time with us and didn't rush! The Vet and tech played with my puppy, loved on her as if she was their own! I am so happy I made the switch, not to mention they are more affordable then the others. I cant boast about Anchor enough! Thank you for making us feel so comfortable and not making us feel rushed. You guys rock!!!!

We've only been in Rhode Island for a few months, but have definitely made usage of this clinic with our accident-prone, active hunting dog. No vet visit is on anyone's shortlist for "fun" but this clinic does their best to ensure optimal comfort for human and animal clientele. Anchor's check-in process is streamlined and easy to use. Vet staff is very friendly and welcoming. They're punctual in their service delivery while also sensitive to dog and handler needs. No need to worry about folks manhandling your pets here; staff is gentle and body language savvy. They're thorough in their diagnosis, treatment plans and follow-ups. Our household is relieved to have found them and are looking forward to a great relationship with them as trusted practitioners for our animal cohorts. ✌️ .

I needed to have my cat seen sooner rather than later for a medical problem. They took her the next morning. Wonderful and caring staff. Every other local Vet I called was booked a month out, they suggested a local Animal ER, upon reading dozens of reviews, I opted against it. Anchor Animal was there for me and my beloved pet when we needed them. ❤🐈 Thank you 😊 so very much to all the staff there.

My baby boy is dead and it’s all your fault! If it wasn’t for your negligence everything would be as it should. A year ago he was losing weight even though he was eating good and he was sent on his way with antibiotics. Over the course of a year nothing improved so we returned and they said he was healthy. They attempted to scam us $1000 on dental work when this obviously was not the problem. We took him to Chase hospital and within a week they found out he had serious cancer. If this place was truly committed to saving animals like they say they are then my kitty would still be with us to this day. Also despite performing a third of the tests that Chase hospital performed, we somehow still payed more here. I hope every doctor here loses a pet of their own so they can actually understand the value of an animals life, because clearly as of now they do not. Hell awaits all of you at Anchor Animal Hospital!!!!

We called to schedule an appointment for our new puppy who had a UTI. Before anything else, we were told that we needed to place a deposit for an appointment and then we were told it would be mid January. This 12 week old puppy needed attention and the person on the phone was neither empathetic or sympathetic to our needs. I have used this Vet before but never again.

Anchor Animal Hospital is an excellent care facility for our pups. When our pets are regular patients of a hospital for routine checks and vaccinations, it seems outrageous to me that they charge high fees for trimming nails-$27.00 a pet. One of our previous vets always did courtesy nail trims for our dogs. Why charge an owner such a high fee for a 2 minute procedure? It is unacceptable.
